Fun with HDIK
The tutorials section is now online.

I've also posted my first tutorial. It details the steps neccessary to create a piston in 3DS Max 7 using a history independent inverse kinematic setup.

This type of setup is useful if you're planning on creating any type of machinery that involves hydraulics like bulldozers, loaders, coal and garbage trucks, etc.

I plan on posting more tutorials eventually.

The next one will probably be about digital ink and paint techniques in Photoshop.

More sketches and a few new links...

Along with some minor visual tweaks and re-alignments, I've added 2 more sketches and a few new links.

I'd love to stay and chat but I'm very tired and I teach an 8 a.m. class.

Hey LOST fans, did you predict who would die on tonight's episode? I really thought I had it figured out... Right up until the gunshot.

Geez... That little event is bound to cause some tension between the original survivors and the tailies now isn't it?

Goodnight!

New Sketches...

I'm doing my best to update the site with new content at least once a week.

Today I've added 4 new pages to the sketchbook section as well as thumbnail images for each link.

The new sketches are a pretty good represenation of how I work now-a-days.

I'm sorry the gallery is still empty. I really do plan to finish some of the many projects I'm juggling at the moment.

Just be patient and in the meantime feel free to amuse yourself by criticizing the works in their unpolished forms.

If you want to see some great stuff from a guy that actually finishes things, head on over to Adam Phillip's site. There's a brand new episode of Bitey of Brackenwood.

Enjoy!

One more wireframe...

I got a request for images of the wireframe of my male head model.

Here's the smoothed wireframe.
